# Account and notifications

> Sign in to TokenChange, update your profile and password, and choose which emails you receive. Notifications always appear in the app as well.

## Sign in

Sign in at [tokenchange.io/login](https://tokenchange.io/login) with one of:

* GitHub
* Google
* An email address and password. New email accounts verify their address before the first sign-in.

## Profile and password

Open **Settings** to change the name shown across the app or your password. Passwords need at least 8 characters.

## Notifications

Everything TokenChange tells you appears under the bell in the app and on the **Notifications** page. You can't turn in-app notifications off.

### Email preferences

In **Settings**, under **Email notifications**, choose which emails you also receive:

| Category | Covers | Can be turned off |
| - | - | - |
| **Security** | Verification, password resets and password changes | No |
| **Account** | Welcome note and provider account status | No |
| **Endpoint alerts** | Your endpoints going up, down, degraded or rejected | Yes |
| **Billing** | Credits added and balance alerts | Yes |
| **Announcements** | Product news and maintenance notices | Yes |

Categories that can't be turned off show **always sent**.

## Suspended accounts

If your account is suspended, your inference keys and API tokens stop working and return `403 account_suspended`. Contact [support@tokenchange.io](mailto:support@tokenchange.io).
